Dr Girish M Sawakare has more than 7 years of experience and is working as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at various clinics and hospitals. He has worked as a Teaching Faculty in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Dr D.Y. Patil Medical College and University hospital, Navi Mumbai and involved in teaching Orthopaedic PG resident doctors, MBBS and Physiotherapy students. He graduated from Grant Government Medical College and Sir JJ Group of Hospitals in 2012. He was awarded Certificate of Appreciation by Mumbai Police for exceptional work as a doctor during Police recruitment. He received his Diploma in Orthopaedics surgery at BJ Government Medical College and Sassoon General Hospital, Pune in 2018. He worked as a Senior Resident at BJ Government Medical College from 2018 to 2019. He completed his tenure as a Secondary DNB in the Department of Orthopaedics at Hinduhridaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray (HBT) Medical College and Sir RN Cooper Hospital, Mumbai from 2019 to 2021. He has worked as a Clinical Associate in the Department of Orthopaedics at Dr.LH Hiranandani Hospital, Powai and Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Navi Mumbai. He did his Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery from Dr LH Hiranandani Hospital, Powai, Mumbai.
